What To Expect

Please make the process as easy on yourself as possible by following these important steps.

Step 1: Call for an appointment – (816) 224-5372.

Step 2: Ask how much it will cost. Fees may include:

  • Travel fee for jail release (best to call a family member to avoid this charge)
  • Weekly offender check-in
    • Payment for service
    • Make schedule changes
    • Review previous daily activity reports
  • $25 daily equipment return late fee (equipment must be returned within 1 week of termination)
  • For all monitoring services: $50 hook-up fee
  • For HomeGuard House Arrest: $10 per day

  • For SCRAM – Alcohol Monitoring: $13 per day
  • For ExacuTrack One Location Tracking: $15 per day

Step 3: Bring cash or a credit/debit card (Visa or Mastercard, not Amex). No checks.

Step 4: Depending on which system is required, you will need the following:

Home Guard House Arrest: Must have basic analog phone service prior to hook up. (not cable, digital or mobile)

  • No answering machines
  • No call waiting
  • No call forwarding
  • No caller ID
  • No 800/900 long distance blocks

SCRAM & SCRAMx: Must have land line phone service prior to hook up. Analog will work, and sometimes cable/digital works, but if it doesn’t work during set-up/testing, you will need to purchase a DSL filter that converts the digital signal back to analog. These are readily available at most RadioShacks for a minimal cost.
